Centro Biling\u00fce.<\/h1>\n<p>La implantaci\u00f3n del biling\u00fcismo en nuestro colegio tiene como objetivo prioritario la mejora paulatina de la competencia ling\u00fc\u00edstica, tanto del espa\u00f1ol como de la lengua inglesa, como medio para alcanzar el desarrollo de las competencias b\u00e1sicas.<\/p>\n<p>El \u00e9nfasis, por tanto, no est\u00e1 en la lengua extranjera en s\u00ed, sino en su capacidad de comunicar y transmitir conocimiento. Para tal prop\u00f3sito, el <strong>enfoque AICLE<\/strong> (Aprendizaje Integrado de Contenido y Lengua Extranjera) proporciona la naturalidad necesaria para que haya un uso espont\u00e1neo del idioma en el aula, ya que las clases de las \u00c1reas No Ling\u00fc\u00edsticas*, se convierten en una oportunidad de experimentar, utilizar y emplear habilidades comunicativas en el marco escolar.<\/p>\n<p>La utilizaci\u00f3n de este enfoque supone muchas ventajas para nuestros estudiantes: aprendizaje de terminolog\u00eda espec\u00edfica en otro idioma y preparaci\u00f3n para sus posteriores estudios o carreras profesionales, fomento de competencia pluriling\u00fce y pluricultural, mayor motivaci\u00f3n, etc. Pero sin duda la mayor de ellas es la posibilidad de potenciar su desarrollo cognitivo, permitiendo una mejor asociaci\u00f3n de diferentes conceptos, ayudando al estudiante a avanzar hacia un nivel de mayor sofisticaci\u00f3n de aprendizaje en general.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=\u00bb2_3,1_3&#8243; _builder_version=\u00bb4.16&#8243; background_size=\u00bbinitial\u00bb background_position=\u00bbtop_left\u00bb background_repeat=\u00bbrepeat\u00bb global_colors_info=\u00bb{}\u00bb][et_pb_column type=\u00bb2_3&#8243; _builder_version=\u00bb4.16&#8243; custom_padding=\u00bb|||\u00bb global_colors_info=\u00bb{}\u00bb custom_padding__hover=\u00bb|||\u00bb][et_pb_text _builder_version=\u00bb4.16&#8243; custom_margin=\u00bb||0px|\u00bb custom_padding=\u00bb||0px|\u00bb global_colors_info=\u00bb{}\u00bb]<\/p>\n<p>Estamos en el umbral de una nueva era en el \u00e1rea de la educaci\u00f3n. La implantaci\u00f3n del biling\u00fcismo y el enfoque AICLE va a cambiar la concepci\u00f3n que ten\u00edamos de la ense\u00f1anza. A los estudiantes se les ense\u00f1ar\u00e1 cosas \u00fatiles que podr\u00e1n utilizar en su vida diaria fuera del colegio a trav\u00e9s de proyectos y tareas, y al mismo tiempo aprender\u00e1n ingl\u00e9s como lo que realmente es: un lenguaje m\u00e1s que una asignatura.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, hace 30 a\u00f1os era importante aprender ingl\u00e9s, pero en la sociedad pluricultural en la que vivimos ya no es suficiente con meramente aprender otro idioma. Hoy d\u00eda, hasta para obtener un grado universitario hay que acreditar dicho conocimiento mediante un certificado oficial de idiomas. Para ello, en Primaria los profesores de las asignaturas ling\u00fc\u00edsticas (espa\u00f1ol, ingl\u00e9s y franc\u00e9s) trabajan todos los a\u00f1os con los profesores de asignaturas no ling\u00fc\u00edsticas (Science) en la redacci\u00f3n de un documento que integre todas las \u00e1reas en torno a una serie de ejes articuladores. En Secundaria el Curr\u00edculo Integrado de las Lenguas relaciona a nivel textual las asignaturas ling\u00fc\u00edsticas de lengua espa\u00f1ola, ingl\u00e9s y franc\u00e9s en cada unidad did\u00e1ctica. En ambas etapas se trabaja en una Tarea Integrada por trimestre.<\/p>\n<p>Como parte de una iniciativa que empez\u00f3 hace nueve a\u00f1os, tenemos cuatro <strong>auxiliares de conversaci\u00f3n<\/strong> nativos de habla inglesa desde octubre a mayo, que cubren desde la etapa de infantil hasta 4\u00ba de la ESO, con el objetivo de que nuestros alumnos adquieran fluidez en el habla, mejoren la pronunciaci\u00f3n y entiendan mejor el idioma a trav\u00e9s de sus propios o\u00eddos (speaking &amp; listening). Bilingual Centre.<\/h1>\n<p>The main aim of the introduction of bilingualism to our school is the gradual improvement of the linguistic competence, as much in Spanish as in English, as a way to achieve the development of the basic competencies.<\/p>\n<p>The emphasis is not on the foreign language itself, but on its capacity to communicate and transmit knowledge. For that purpose, the <strong>CLIL approach<\/strong> (Content and Learning Integrated Learning) provides a natural and unconstrained use of the language in class, and the Non-linguistic Subject* classes become an excellent opportunity to experiment and use communicative skills in the school framework.<\/p>\n<p>The utilization of this approach means a lot of advantages for our students: from learning specific vocabulary in another language and preparation for their future studies and careers, to higher motivation and the promotion of multilingual and multicultural competence. However, the most important of these advantages is the chance to boost their cognitive development: allowing a better association of different concepts and helping the students to reach a more sophisticated level of learning in general.<\/p>\n<p>We are on the threshold of a new age in education. The introduction of bilingualism and the CLIL approach will change the concept of learning. Students will be taught useful things they will be able to use in their daily lives outside the school by means of projects and tasks, and at the same time, they will learn English as it is actually used: a language more than a mere subject.<\/p>\n<p>While learning English was very important 30 years ago, in the multicultural society we live today it is not enough just to learn another language. Nowadays you need to certify your knowledge through an official certificate in English if you want to obtain a University degree. Because of this, no efforts will be spared in making sure that students are able to take their official exams at the level of English required by their educational stage. Our school has been a <strong>Cambridge exams Examination Centre <\/strong>since 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Another important element in our bilingual programme is the <strong>Integrated Curriculum<\/strong>, through which the existence of a global linguistic communication competence is recognized regardless of the language that our students use. In order to do that, the Primary language teachers (Spanish, English and French) work together with the teachers of non-linguistic subjects (Social and Natural Science) making a document that integrates all the areas around a series of articulating topics. In Secondary, the Integrated Language Curriculum relates the linguistic subjects of Spanish, English and French at a textual level in every unit from their books. In both stages we work on an Integrated Task per term.<\/p>\n<p>As part of an initiative introduced nine years ago, we have four native English language assistants this course from October to May. This will contribute by improving our students\u2019 fluency in speaking, their pronunciation and their listening skills.
